Writing Crumbs #1

I’ve noticed if you write enough, you eventually receive a strange superpower where you can tell what story would a person have if you wrote them even after a glance. Like when you’re on a bus and WriterSight kicks in and suddenly you somehow know the guy with the hair and in a jacket must be a quirky character who’s more competent than he shows and also probably has a favorite axe named Liana. WriterSight is weird.

Anyone knows this phenomenon? No? Just me?

Hey there, travelers! It is Wednesday again, so time for a new Behind the Scalpel post. This time I got a treat for you.   Hey there, traveler! It is really common for folklore and mythology to color the boring parts of existing phenomena, medical conditions and natural occurrences, but if you search hard enough, you might find a spark of truth under the myth. Cyclopses, centaurs, mermaids, the manticore, they all have a possible origin that got sewn among the sparkly threads of imagination. Book marketing - How it went for us

  We almost finished our debut novel, Shackles of the Storm in our native language (Hungarian), when we realized that we need others to read it as well. It is our book baby after all. So I dived into the depths of the internet to learn some marketing and boy… if you think writing a book is hard, then you ain’t see nothing yet.   In today’s blogpost I want to share with you how we started, what did we learn, and how it is going… 1. The authortube When I needed a new recipe, a way to insert the dishwasher, or anything related to DIY my first source was always youtube videos. So, naturally, I went there first when I wanted to learn more about the craft of writing, what it takes to get traditionally publish and how should we self-publish.
